About Dan Sugarman
Welcome, and thanks for checking out my profile and giving BANDHAPPY a go with me. People usually call me Dan Sugarman, but you can call me whatever the hell you want ...within reason.
I am a guitarist, a songwriter/composer, and a lyricist. I'm also a guitar teacher, and I am here to elevate your playing and fine tune your mindset to better prepare you for your ascension.
I am also offering my time for Band Consulting. Are you in a band that you feel is ready to take the next step, but you just haven't quite made it there yet? Learn about the steps that you need to take to make your dream a reality. I will coach you, point you in the right direction, help refine your sound, and focus your energy on the areas that will yield the results that you're looking for.
My vision and purpose for my lessons with you is to open your eyes and expand your mind, to change your perspective and outlook on the guitar, the music industry, and even music as a whole.
My goal is to have you walk away from each one of our lessons with something monumental and thought provoking, with refined focus on your goals, a more intense passion for the guitar, and an unquenchable thirst for more.
In your lessons with me you will learn how to overcome dead-ends and plateaus in your playing, how to practice properly and with purpose, innovative ideas & unconventional approaches, writing strategies & creative skills, as well as many other playing concepts, techniques, and abstract ideas that will be tailored to your specific wants & needs.
I strongly believe that the creative process is the driving force behind personal musical development. I also feel that it is the creative spark within you that is directly linked to and responsible for fast paced physical progress. I will train you how harness that ability and shape it into something that is original, and your own.
